Condolence Messages

  1. Gilles Fournier :

My condolences to Mary’s family. I am really saddened by the news of Mary’s passing away. I worked with Mary for many years while at Imperial Oil in both Toronto and Calgary. She was a class act. She had so much knowledge and experience – as a relatively newcomer, I really looked up to her and learned so much from her that I always considered her as a mentor. She will indeed be sorely missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. I had the opportunity to work with Mary on the MGP Project. She was a great lady with such a tenacious spirit – always smiling. She will not be fogotten.

My sincere condolences and thoughts are with you all in this difficult time. I will be away overseas this week so cannot be with you. Through our joint work with Shell on such important projects Mary became a good friend to me who always had a smile, was very dedicated in her work and managed to keep us all on track in meeting those always challenging timelines. She will always be in my memory.

My condolences to the Cornwall Family. Mary was very dedicated to excellent technical writing and documentation and was a great mentor to many. I first met her at a technical writing course which she presented and it did not take long to determine this lady was very knowledgeable and meant business. She also revealed that she had a great sense of humour that was not far from the surface and it appeared on many occasions.

  6. Maxine Trennert :

    Dear Stephen and Deanne,
My deepest condolences to you both and to your family for your loss. I’d had the great privilege of working with Mary and the Cornwall team on the MGP and always found Mary to be steadfast in professionalism and quick wit. Her intelligence and ability to organize and oversee complex issues made working with her very rewarding — especially when she brought a smile to our otherwise serious activities. Mary will be greatly missed.

  8. I had not seen Mary since she moved to Alberta years ago, but I have such warm and delightful memories of all the time spent with Mary & Chris & family in their Markham, Ontario home. She always seemed so humorous, bright and welcoming. My love to all the Cornwall family and my sincere sympathies on this terribly sad occasion.
