Mike beloved husband of Sharon Cornell of Calgary, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at the age of 51 years.

Mike worked for the City of Calgary Roads Department for thirty years. He always had a smile on his face and was quick to help anyone who needed a helping hand. He was always friendly and loved the outdoors.

Mike is survived by his wife Sharon; daughters, Melissa (Chris), Alicia (Aaron) and Marie; his brothers and sisters, Bill (Gayleen), Jace (Kat), Lorraine (Jamie), Stanley (Connie) and Audrey (Rick); and numerous nieces and nephews all of Calgary. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, Pam Walker of Calgary and Amanda Walker of Black Diamond; brothers-in-law, Tony Walker of High River and John Walker of Calgary.

Mike was predeceased by his parents Don and Mary; and his mother-in-law Gerry Walker.

A Celebration of Mike’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through
