Although our lives were only directly connected for a relatively short time many years ago, we stayed in touch. Debbie was like a sister to me. The love, kindness, and thoughtfulness she showed toward me was exceptional. I am a better person for having known her. May she rest in peace. My heart goes out to her family that she so dearly loved.

  8. I was so shocked and saddened to read of Debbie’s passing. Debbie and I worked together for many years at the Maple Leaf Rest. in Sydney. We both got our first apartment together. We lost touch after she married and I had not seen her since Brian was just a baby. My prayers and condolences go out to all her family. I was with her the night she and Buddy met, and knew he would be “The One”. If any of the family would like to email me for some good memories, please feel free to do that, and I would love to know when the Memorial service will take place. My heart is heavy tonight, as I thought of her often and only just spoke of her a few days ago. Take care all of you, and God Bless. R.I.P. Good Friend!!

My sincere condolences to Buddy, Brian ,Barbara and families on the passing of a wonderful, loving mother, grandmother and friend. Debbie was a joy to have known. We shared many chuckles and stories over the years ever since meeting the Corbetts many moons ago back in Goose Bay , Labrador. I will always remember her laugh and unique little giggle. It was indeed a shock and sudden as I had spoken to her on the phone just awhile prior to hearing she was in hospital. R.I.P. my good friend and you will never be forgotten.

Mommy, I miss you so much every minute of every day. Nothing is the same without you here and my world crumbled into an unrecognizable mess when you left me and Avy. After all this time it still hurts more and more every day. When does it get easier? Its still getting harder and harder. I miss you so much its hard to even breathe most of the time. Wish I was with you wherever you are.
