November 29, 2014 – Calgary, Alberta
Sorrow fills our hearts, a sorrow that is deep and personal. Melvin left the door of life and departed from us on Saturday, November 29, 2014.
Born February 16, 1933 in Calgary, he was the son of Alexander and Katherine Cook. Melvin was employed for many years at Shell Oil Jumping Pound until his retirement. He was blunt with his comments and always let you know where you stood with him, but you always knew he loved you. His passing was sudden and for that we are grateful. May you find peace in God’s arms.
“God saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb,
So he closed your weary eyelids and whispered ‘Peace be thine’.”
