Patrick Joseph Connolly of Calgary, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2008 at the age of 56 years.
Born and raised in Calgary, Patrick graduated from St. Francis High school. Patrick was very passionate about sports, he especially loved hockey and football and was a very faithful Flames and Stampeder fan. He enjoyed to work on his computer, and to be in nature, taking walks and photography of Calgary and Alberta’s scenery. Patrick was very close to and loved and cared for all his family and relatives.
Patrick is survived by his brother Rev. Terry Connolly; sister Colleen Reinhart; nephews, Paul, Robert (Beth) and Daniel (Stephanie Kelly) Reinhart and their father, Peter Reinhart. Patrick is also survived by his great nieces, Madison and Brooklyn; great nephew, Nicholas Reinhart; his Uncle Albert Fischer and Aunt Jennie Gorcak, as well as numerous cousins and their families. Patrick was predeceased by: parents Norman and Catherine Connolly and many other aunts and uncles.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church (640 – 19th Avenue N.W.) on Friday, July 25, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
