August 30, 1952 – Didsbury, AB
November 17, 2013 – Cochrane, AB
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert “Bob” Coleman. He is finally at peace. Bob fought a courageous three and a half year battle with cancer.
Bob worked as a mechanic and truck driver but his true love was riding and team roping. He never rode a horse that didn’t have a good handle on it. His greatest pride was teaching his children how to ride and rope and watching them accomplish great things in the roping arena. His final years were filled with the joy of his grandchildren and he called himself a very lucky man.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of thirty-seven years, Sharon; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Shara-Lee; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Clinton; four wonderful and cherished grandchildren, Brody, Easton, Jorgia and Josie; brother and sister-in-law, Douglas and Sharon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bob was predeceased by his father, Stan; mother, Ruby; and brother, Clarence.
A Gathering will be held at Weedon Pioneer Community Hall on Friday, November 29, 2013 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
