  1. Allison Humphreys :

I will remember Audrey for her fineness of heart, that was shown in her dedicated caring for family and others. I hold fond memories of both her and John’s support for me when I was a young person attending Central United. May family member’s hearts be held to grace at this time of loss.

    Very best regards,
    Allison Humphreys

  3. Dear Doug and Amy,
Garfield Anderson and Eileen Thurlow have told me of the passing of your mother. When my son was born we lived in Altadore just a few doors away from your dad and mother. Doug, you were just one year old. Your mother looked after our son who was just a few weeks old for his first year. How fortunate we were to have had her wonderful care! We both moved to other parts of the city but would see each other at school board functions over the years.
Audrey and John were a remarkable couple – always so caring of each other and of others – from their extended family to neighbors and friends. Since moving to Comox, BC 19 years ago I personally lost touch with them but would hear of them from mutual friends. Audrey missed your dad so much and I like to think that they are together again. My sincere condolences to you and to your family, Amy, and to Doug and your family.

  5. Doug and Pat,

It is with profound understanding that I offer my thoughts, prayers and condolences to you and your family. As I, too, lost my mother a couple years ago, I know that a person is never “ready” to lose a loved one and will never know just how deeply this loss will be felt. No trite or cliche phrases here, just know that your grieving is recognized and understood.

    God Bless you all,

    Len

I wish to send my deepest sympathy to
the passing of your Mother Audrey. I was one of the young ladies that had to have the privlege of being in Audrey’s class CGIT at the Church next to Balmoral School. Audrey made it possible for me to go to the CGIT summer camp. It was the only camp I ever got to go to. I had so much fun and still remember the songs we sung. I have never forgotten her kindness. Audrey was a wonderful CGIT leader- our ggroup loved her.

    Amy and Doug,

I was so sorry to hear about the passing of your Mom. Your parents have a special place in my heart. They were two of my biggest supporters when I was young and swimming internationally. They were always interested in hearing about my travels and experiences and were often there to provide words of support as I trudged up the path beside your home on my way to or from practices.
Your Mom was a very special lady. May your memories bring you comfort at this time.
