Condolence Messages

  1. I knew your mom for a short period of time having met her when we moved into the Sierras in 2010. She was always a kind, loving person and I will miss the many chats I had with her. Your family will be my prayers.

My deepest sympathy for you all in your loss. Lynne was a lovely person and brightened our lives. She will be missed very much and I cherish the memories of our cruise. She was a wonderful travel companion. I regret I am unable to attend the celebration of her life on Tuesday, as I will be travelling overseas that day, but in thought I will be there.

  3. Stephanie & Dave Strong :

I knew your Mother for many wonderful years. We would go to the Sierras water class together . For many years it would be just her and I at the 9:00 a.m. one. All the others were earlier birds ! We would chat and she would be so proud of you children and grandchildren. Her eyes would light up when she spoke of you all. She was a great sport very fit, I always told her you have lived 20 years more than I have and can still out exercise in the water better than me ! Every time Dave and I play Scrabble , we think of her. In May on a flight home from England , a woman beside me asked where in Tuscany did I live , I told her the Sierras and she asked if I knew Lynne Clayton ! What a small world. She knew her from the Scrabble tournaments. We will miss her smile and you all are in our prayers and we are sorry for your loss .

  5. My sincere sympathy to Lynne’s family.
I have known Lynne since she lived in her own home and came to Bow Cliff Seniors. She was such a pleasant lady and much missed when she found the centre too far to travel when she moved. She tried really hard to get “scrabble” going at the centre and I know she was an expert. You will miss her, but you will have many happy memories, as will all who knew her.
    In sympathy,
    Donna Snyder
