I miss dad’s smiling face and gentle spirit. He was a wonderful, wonderful dad. There wasn’t a selfish bone in his body and he was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. I love him alot, and know I’ll see him again.

I’ve known Ralph for over 20 years. Everytime I saw him he either had his Holy Bible or it was nearby. During his visits to our home in Dallas we would always share in the word and learn from Ralph. He surely was a man that walked with God. I like to think that he has not left us since anyone that met him will carry him within each of us. Heaven has truly gained a gentle spirit worthly of being with our Lord and Savior. He now has the peace and comfort he deserves.

  9. I will always treasure the last phone call with my brother, Ralph. While we didn’t get to share in his life enough, we all know him as the gentle loving father/brother/friend that he was to everyone he met. He loved animals and that’s always a good sign of a loving gentle person. He shared all the fine qualities of our Dad and for me, that’s right up there with “walking on water.” I know Dad put on a fresh pot of coffee in Heaven and they have enjoyed the reunion since Ralph arrived. I love you, Brother dear.

  10. Ralph was a kind, gentle and humble man.
A man who every day lived by Christian principles. Quick to forgive, and slow to judge, he was an inspiration to all he met, and even moreso to those who got to know him. It was a pleasure to have known him. He will be missed.

As his litle sister, Ralph was my hero. No one in our neighborhood could jump fences like he could! He never met an animal he didn’t like. His gentle, quiet spirit was reflected in all he did. He always looked for the best in others. His quiet sense of humor brightened the landscape for all around him. His love for God was genuine, and I eagerly look forward to meeting him Heaven. He was loved by all of his family so very much.

  14. I am a sister who was truly saddened by the news that my brother Ralph had passed on.. I will miss him and that is the part that saddened me, but I KNOW that I KNOW that he is in Heaven and I will see him some day again. Jesus said, “Because I live, ye shall live also.” What a wonderful promise when our loved ones who knew Jesus pass on. Ralph was very thoughtful and kind to my mother who was really his stepmother. His own mother passed away when he was only 5 yrs old. The two families were joined together and all of us truly knew that Ralph was our Big brother. He was so gentle. One of his daughters put it this way, “Dad was an angel and angels belong in Heaven.” How true of gentle, loving, kind Ralph. I miss you big brother. Thanks for being kind to Mom in her later years. Thanks for your visits to Montana to help her out and show concern for her well being.

  15. Sherry (Forbes) Findlay :

I met the Christofferson family when they moved in 2 doors down from us, sometime in 1961. Melody and I were 6, and discovered that our birthdays were only 1 day apart. I spent many, many hours in the Christofferson home, and always thought the girls had the second best daddy in the world. As an adult, that belief never changed.
Ralph was a hard working, gentle and kind man, who was always generous and never had a problem with having one more little girl underfoot.
Sadly, it has been many years since we last met, but just knowing that he is no longer there is a burden on my heart.
My sincere condolences go out to Melody and Monica, and their families. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you.

I was fortunate to have the opportunity to meet Ralph this Christmas at Tom and Melody’s. It was a pleasure to spend time with such a gentle, unassuming man. I know Melody and Tom will miss his presence in their lives as he enriched it so much while he stayed with them. My heartfelt sympathy to all who loved him.

  17. Norm Christofferson :

My dear brother. Out of the seven siblings he was probably the most like our dad. Quiet in nature, a lover of animals, gentle-spirited, and just a kind and Godly man. I wish I could have spent more time with Ralph but surely will in eternity where time has no meaning. Ralph, thanks for loving our mother – your stepmother, as you did all those years.
