CHABAN, Doreen Marie

November 11, 1952 – August 13, 2012

Doreen Chaban of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 13, 2012 at the age of 59 years.

Doreen was born in Calgary. She worked in administration most of her working life, primarily in real estate. Doreen enjoyed gambling at various casinos in Calgary and in Las Vegas, where she married Ron. She loved to travel with Ron on road trips. Doreen will be remembered for her colourful personality and her “Henry Language”.

Doreen is survived by her son Jason Boughton (Nancy Hyson); two grandchildren; Katherine and Drake Boughton; three sisters, Kathy Burrows (Fred Rees), Sally Scabar (Tom Murdock) and Sandra Conkin; two brothers, Raymond Henry (Helen Marsh) and Robert Henry; three step-children, Jason Chaban (Colleen Brennan) and their daughter Jayden, Crystal Chaban (Jamie Chiquen) and their son Ty, Jackie Chaban and her son Baby Jay; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Ron Chaban on April 21, 2008.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.), on Friday, August 17, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.), on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
