Carpick, Anne

Anne Carpick of Calgary, formerly of Sidney, BC, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 19, 2008 at the age of 82 years.
Anne was born in Koszylowce, Poland and immigrated to Canada as a young girl. She grew up in Winnipeg, MB and met and married Phillip in 1950. Anne and Phil resided in Calgary for many years before they retired to Sidney on Vancouver Island in 1983. They spent many long happy hours creating their beautiful garden together and enjoying the ocean, which they both loved. After Phil’s passing Anne decided that her place was with her family, so in 2005 she moved back to Calgary. Anne enjoyed many happy occasions with her grandchildren, creating memories for all of them. She will be greatly missed. 

Anne was predeceased by her husband Phil and son Jeffrey. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Catherine and Kevin Hinz of Calgary, AB and Christine and Todd Gillespie of Bahrain, Arabian Gulf. She will be dearly missed by her precious grandchildren, Jennifer Carpick (Cam Leonard), Samantha (Nick) Johnston, Andrea and Laura Hinz,  Ryan and Jordan Gillespie and her great-grandchildren Tristan and Gabriel Johnston; sister and brother-in-law Helen and Bert Collicutt of Sidney, BC; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Vic and Pat Carpick of Baden, ON and Helen and Graham Wardley of Burlington, ON and by numerous nieces and nephews.
