  2. Janet Arnold :

On behalf of the Arnold family, I send our sympathy to all of you.

Hilda was such a dear friend to mom over the years. Mom talked about what a great babysitter Hilda was to her. They seemed to have had lots of fun as girls and then again as seniors when they got reconnected in a strange series of events. I guess it was meant to be.

Shopping trips and drives gave them time to reminisce about the old days. Hilda continued to have us over for lunch and her support and desire to stay connected to mom even after mom developed dementia means the world to all of us!

We know her family meant so much to her and she was so proud of all of you. May your memories bring comfort as you mourn the loss of a dear lady.

  3. Gayle Hayes :

I am so very sorry to hear of Hilda’s passing she was such a kind and thoughtful lady. When my mother Wilda developed dementia years ago Hilda was the only friend that would have Mom over for lunch and an afternoon of visiting. Even family menbers would not go visit Mom except of course my sister and I. Hilda always welcomed us to her home that she loved and was so proud of her family. We will miss her so much. I wish you all comfort in your loss knowing how lucky you were to have her in your lives.
