CARIOLATO, Tito

February 23, 1935 – November 12, 2012

Tito Cariolato, beloved husband of Clelia Cariolato of Calgary, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2012 at the age of 77 years.

Tito was born in Cornedo, Vicenza, Italy. He married Clelia on April 16, 1966 in Italy and soon after started a new life in Canada. They resided in Dawson Creek, BC for thirty years prior to moving to Calgary. Tito was a heavy duty equipment operator in many areas.

Tito is survived by his loving wife Clelia; three daughters, Franca (Walter) Pandolfo, Lucia Cariolato and Claudia Cariolato; seven grandchildren, Christina, Stefano, Logan, Adriano, Jagger, Jesse, and Renato; two brothers, Rino and Albino; and two sisters, Adelina and Albina. He was predeceased his sister Maria.

Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Friday, November 16, 2012 at 7:30 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Italian and English Catholic Church (1714 – 14th Avenue N.E.) on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Mausoleum. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.

    Although our time together was short I want to say what a pleasure it was to meet a family so dedicated to each other. Tito was a very interesting and strong man and he found it extremely difficult to leave this world and leave a family that was so dear to him.
