Condolence Messages

  1. Aunt Glenys & Steve :

    To: Adam, Danae & Joel;
    We are saddened to hear of the sudden passing of your biological “Mom”. Even though neither of you have memories of her, deep down we all have a desire to know who we are and where our roots come from. Unfortunately, you never had the privilege to or the opportunity to voice all the questions you may have, such as who do I look like or do I have the personality of my Mom but I trust you can rest in the fact that failure to meet ‘Val” was not from lack of trying. Despite the circumstances, God has blessed you with two wonderful parents who care for you deeply and desire ONLY the very best for you. Be assured of our thoughts and prayers in the days to come. We are here for you if you need.

    Sent with our love;
    Aunt Glenys & Steve
    Long Sault, ON

Our thoughts are with you on this difficult day, as you say goodbye to the woman whose life created your lives. We pray that God will give you peace and comfort.

    Uncle Gus and Aunt Audrey: We are praying for you as you support your children through the loss of their birth mother. May you continue to be the rock of strength and love you always have been.

    Joel, Adam and Danae, I hope you find comfort in knowing that you do not grieve for your birth mother, alone. I too, feel sad in the knowledge that all I have left of my niece, Val is memories. I am so sorry that you didn’t get the chance to know her. I think it was a miracle that she was brought into your lives now, perhaps you will be able to gain some closure now. I wish you all the best.
    Your Great Aunt Charlotte Val always called me “Aunt Bert.”

  6. Beverly Calder (nee Maine) :

    Valerie was my second cousin and I used to babysit her when she was about 9 or 10, along with her sister and brother. She had the sweetest smile. I moved away and lost touch with most of that side of my family but, hearing this sad news brings back memories of that little girl with the impish grin. RIP Val.

  7. Valerie was my little sister, we were just 2 years and 2 days apart. When we were little we always shared our birthdays together. As Val got older she told me that she always treated herself to a lobster on her birthday, a tradition I will keep in her memory, I love lobster as much as she did. Val was always laughing and kidding around, she enjoyed life and always lived in the moment. I have lots of photos of her laughing and making funny faces. My wish for you Val is that you find peace and soar with the angels. I will deeply miss you, my little sister. I love you Val. Your big sister Sue xxx
