We are so sorry for your loss and hold you gently in prayer. When we used to see your mom…grandma, great grandma…after church, she always had a sweet smile and a kind word. Both June and Bill will be remembered by all who knew them.

    Greetings:
As a former pastor at Red Deer Lake United Church, I can attest in what high esteem June and Bill Campbell were held at the former Midlands United and then as it became part of Red Deer Lake United. They were strong church supporters and made a huge contribution to the United Church of Canada where ever they lived and are now part of the great roll call of saints.
    Shalom, Rev. Bob

June and Bill were wonderful people. We enjoyed visiting with them often over the years. June was always happy to share news about her family over a cup of tea or coffee. We are truly sorry for your loss.

  5. Gayle Basaraba :

I am the fortunate recipient of several pieces of June’s needlework, one of which is hanging on our walls at the moment. She donated it to the Midlands Silent Auction and I was the lucky bidder. I rotate my art, so most of the year there is a piece of June on display somewhere in my home. They have reminded me of her sweet nature, persistence and generosity of spirit many, many times. When she and Bill visited us in our home on Vancouver Island, it was a pleasure to host them and see how they took care of each other. Its like the end of an era with both of them gone, but of course they are gone on to greater things, and I like to think that Bill stretched out his hand, and she placed hers in his–together forever! Is this a sad ending? How could it be? Love never dies. It aspires to greater heights, and that is how I envision them. I would offer my condolences, but truthfully, I think we should rejoice in their reunion and commitment of the souls. Beautiful indeed.
    Gayle

    With deepest sympathy Janet,
We met you and your dear mom the Sunday before last at Mayfair Care Centre. We were sitting at the same table out front in Mayfair with our moms and we started talking and found out we go to the same church.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you mourn the loss of your mom. May God be your strength, comfort and peace during this difficult time your family is experiencing.

Dear Colin, Cameron, Heather and Janet:

We are very sorry to hear of Aunt June’s passing. It has been very difficult losing both your mom and dad in such a short time, but they are both where they want to be – together.

We will always fondly remember them and their fine examples of generosity, friendliness, and enjoyment of life and family. Our memories of their trips to Ontario are still fresh, and we were glad they could spend time with us at our cottage on Doe Lake. Our brief visits out west were too few but none the less special. We can only hope that when we ultimately retire, we can also follow in their fine examples of family, kinship, and travel. Regards, Cathy, Ron, Andrew, Julia, Laura.
