The 105 year Journey has Ended
Christina Cameron (nee Paterson) was born on August 25, 1905 on the farm of Arnbog in Meigle, Perthshire, Scotland, the second eldest child in a family of ten. Mom died peacefully on December 26, 2010 after a valiant battle with old age.
Mom is survived by her sons, James and Kenneth (Mary); daughters, Margaret (Tom) and Carol (Ron); grandchildren, Gordon, Deana, Renee, Shelley, Shannon, Cameron, Danny, and Heather; great-grandchildren, Jason, Jamie, Rory, Robbie, Ryan, Carson, Robert, Michelle, Erik, Sydney, and Jonathon; and a great-great-grandson James. She is also survived by her sister Liz and brother Frank in Scotland. Mom was predeceased by her husband Murdoch in 1983, first-born infant Betsy (1928); grandsons, Scott (1978), Timothy and Kenneth (1971); and daughter-in-law Dora (2008).
A Celebration of Mom’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
