I was so saddened to hear of Maureen’s passing. I worked with her at People’s in South Centre. We shared many a night working together discussing art, music, Paris, her favorite recipes and lot of laughter, because we always managed to laugh a lot. She was a tremendous source of knowledge when it came to jewelry and I learned so much from her.
She was always so kind. I was a witness to it as she extended her kindness to another one of the girls who lost her husband last year and another whose mother was very ill. She made a point of asking how they were doing every time she saw them.
She was so proud of her girls and the women they have grown into. Of course she also raved about her grandkids.
May it comfort you to know that so many people care and are thinking of you and your family at this time.
    She will be sorely missed.

I am so sorry to hear of Maureens passing. She was such a kind hearted lady. When my mother became sick with cancer Maureen would ask me how things were going. Even if I didn’t see Maureen for an extended period of time she was so caring she always seemed to know what to say and how to say it. I am sorry to her family , I know how hard it is to lose a mother well before her time. My thoughts are with you. May she live on in your hearts forever.
