Burns, Constance (Connie) Elizabeth

Constance (Connie) Elizabeth Burns (nee Kentel), beloved wife of Mr. Rodney Burns of Chestermere, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, March 19, 2004, after a long and brave battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease), at the age of 56 years.

Connie was born on September 13, 1947 in Langenberg, SK. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend. Our memories of her will carry on in our hearts forever.

Connie will be lovingly remembered by her husband Rodney Burns; a daughter and son-in-law, Kari and Jim Oelke; and a son and daughter-in-law, Derek and Julie Burns, all of Calgary. She is also survived by her father, three brothers, three sisters, and their families.

A Celebration of Connie’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Tuesday, March 23, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Dr. Paul Dorn of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church officiating. To forward condolences go to
