Inez Bullen, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away in peace on Monday, September 22, 2014 at the age of 99 years.
She will be sadly missed by her son Bob (Dell); nine grandchildren, Tom, Jim (Araly), Glenn, Derek (Susan), Brent (Dawn), Chris (Heather), Kirby, Kim (Mike) and Dan (Maureen); fifteen great-grandchildren, Freddie, Robert, Lucas, Brittany, Brayden, Tessa, Stevahn, Caelahn, Sydney, Morgan, Jaeline, Nathan, Kurtis, Jade, Ayden, son-in-law Bob, as well as members of her loving extended family. She was sadly predeceased by her husband Fred, son Ron, devoted daughter Carol, and sister Dorothy.
In her final years, she was lovingly cared for by Dan and Maureen, staff of Airdrie Bethany Care Centre, and by regular visits from family and the many friends whose lives she touched.
Throughout her life, Inez cared mainly about others, and was active in charitable organizations including the Maccabees and Daughters of the Nile. As a highly respected member of the Order of the Eastern Star, she was honored by twice serving as Worthy Matron, as well as serving as Grand Representative to the State of Rhode Island for Alberta.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB) on Friday, October 3, 2014 at 10:30 am. She will be laid to rest beside her loving husband, Fred, in the Field of Honour at Mountain View Memorial Gardens. Should friends so desire, donations can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
