  20. Michael Mathioudakis :

I am profoundly crashed by the news of my dear friend Stephen’s passing. I have known Stephen since our McGill days in the mid 90’s & we kept in touch over the years especially after I moved to Edmonton for 4+ years but also after I moved to NY in the early 90’s. Stephen was an amazing & true friend and a brilliant engineer. We took courses together, we studied together, we partied together and we had many long discussions over our McGill years. I admired his spirit, his intelligence, his knowledge, his wit and his dedication to his family & friends. He loved life, he was so proud of his girls and his family and loved the outdoors (skiing, biking, etc.) I will miss him dearly. May he rest in peace and may his family find a lot of strength from the outpouring of love & emotions by all his friends who were touched by him during his very short stay with us to slowly overcome this huge loss. I will never forget his laugh anytime we were getting together or whenever we were on the phone. You will always be in our hearts brother! We will never forget you. RIP and keep telemarking and cycling!!!
