Rev. John W. Brown passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2008 of a massive heart attack in Las Vegas at the age of 78 years.
Father Brown was born on May 28, 1930 in Worcester, MA. He was ordained on May 19, 1960 at St. Boniface Cathedral by Archbishop M. Baudoux. He Served in Calgary, Oyen, Lethbridge, Airdrie, High River, and Canmore. He retired to Arizona on August 1, 1995.
A Memorial Mass will be Celebrated at St. Mary’s Cathedral (219 – 18th Avenue S.W.) on Thursday, December 4, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in Massachusetts. In the charity of your prayers, please remember Father Brown and all the Faithful Departed. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.
