BROWN, Leslie (Les) Samuel Sr.

February 2, 2014 – Calgary, AB

Leslie (Les) Samuel Brown Sr., resident of Cedars Villa Extendicare, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at the age of 93 years.

He was a veteran of World War II, a gifted musician, and was dedicated to his family and friends.

Les is survived by his sister Dorothy McKee of New Norway, AB; six children, eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents John and Sarah Brown; his wife Ione Brown; eldest daughter Bonita Johnson; six brothers and a sister.

A Memorial Service and interment will be held at Dried Meat Lake Cemetery at a later date. Condolences may be forwarded through The family wishes to thank staff and caregivers at Cedars Villa for their care and support.
