BRITTON, Wilfred Arthur Cyril

February 14, 2015 – Didsbury, Alberta

It is with great sadness that the family of Wilfred ‘Wilf’ Britton announce his passing on February 14, 2015.

Wilf will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 62 years, Marie Britton; daughter, Barb Jorgensen (Grant); son, Ian Britton (Mary); son-in-law, Gary Moore; son, Dale Britton; grandchildren; Mike & Chris (Ashley) Jorgensen, Brett & Chad Britton, Andrew & Kyle Moore; great grandson; Nicholas; sister, Lovina; and brother, Wayland (Mary-Anne) and his many friends and neighbours.

Wilf was predeceased by his daughter Vera Moore and grandson Jason Moore.

Memorial Services will be held at Cochrane United Church (128 1 Street East, Cochrane, AB) on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.   3. I’m so sorry to hear the loss of grandpa. He was a fine man, full of laughter, pranks and general BS. I will miss his stories of days past, his infectious laugh and tresure the memories of good times with him and the rest of the family.

    Our sincere sympathy is extended to your family in the loss of Wilf. He was certainly one of a kind. Wilf hauled cows and grain for us for a long time, and regardless of weather or road conditions he was always there. We used to call him the ” Fire Chief” when he had that red truck. We regret not seeing the funeral notice in time to attend the celebration of his life. May God bless the fond memories we all have.
