In 1942 Andrew enlisted in the Canadian Armed Forces and was involved in the liberation of the Netherlands. Upon returning home Andrew moved to Calgary where he met the love of his life Beryl. Andrew was a voracious reader.
Predeceased by his wife Beryl, Andrew is lovingly remembered by his five children and their partners, David (Jane), Deborah (Tim), Liane, Stephen (Lori), and Carol (Tux). Known as “Sir” by his eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, he will be profoundly missed.
