BRIDGER, Douglas (Doug) Alfred James

November 17, 1930 – Brandon, Manitoba
October 4, 2014 – Calgary, Alberta

Doug Bridger, beloved husband of Loreen Bridger of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at the age of 83 years.

Doug was raised and educated in Boissevain, MB. He was very involved in sports but his passion was hockey as both playing and coaching for many years. After retirement Doug and Loreen spent many years at the cabin in Sylvan Lake where he enjoyed both golfing and curling.

Besides his loving wife of sixty-three years, Doug is survived by three children, Steve and Darlene Bridger, Darcy Bridger and Lyneen Bridger; three grandchildren, Danielle, Alyson and Colin.

A gathering to celebrate Doug’s life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Crowfoot, 82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.) on Thursday, October 9, 2014 from 2:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
