  4. Brent Pennell :

    Dear Dianne,

I’m going to miss Al’s very colourful and detailed stories as to when he was a meat inspector. You know how much I thought of him as a person. Time passes by too quickly, but I am glad that I had a few short years to get to know Al in a meaningful way. We will all miss Al, but will never forget him.

    Take care,
    Brent

  12. Richard and Lori Reardon and sons, Nolan and Evan :

Dear Dianne. . .we were all sad to hear about Al’s passing. The two of you were so kind to always reach out to us and our boys…having us over for lunches or dinners when we were in town; treating us to all day adventures at Callaway Park; treating us to places like Legoland and Disneyland when you came to the L. A. area; sending us cards for birthdays, anniversaries, etc! I, (richard) personally loved to hang out with Al to learn some of the many skills that he possessed–I always wished that I had the penchant and abilities that he had…he could be very passionate about those “hobbies,” and gave back a lot to others while using them! I gained some wisdom from him about that. (Smile)
