Graydon Clayton “Tiny” Boyer beloved husband of Velma of Calgary, passed away after a long illness on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at the age of 65 years.
Tiny was born in Ontario in June 15, 1949. He met the love of his life Velma and was married on May 25, 1974. Together, they had two loving sons. He moved to Alberta to work in the summer of 1978. His wife and young son followed soon after. Tiny loved working as a long haul commercial trucker. His job took him from the Mexico border to the North Pole, as he put it. He loved being on the road and meeting new people along his travels. He enjoyed listening to country-western music, attending concerts, camping, and shooting the breeze with anyone he could talk trucking with. Tiny worked for multiple commercial trucking companies over the years before his health failed and he could no longer work. His family and his home became his centre. Tiny’s boisterous, outgoing personality and sense of humour will be missed by everyone.
Besides his loving wife Velma, Tiny is survived by his sons Matt Boyer and Josh Boyer (Cheryl); grandchildren, Aurora Boyer and Jaden Gilbert; brothers, Moose (Angela) Boyer, Chuck (Cherrill) Boyer, Neil (Suzanne) Boyer, Leslie (Trudy) Boyer, and sister Gail Brown; Uncle Clayton Pokrandt; Aunt Vera Teske; as well as numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents Hector and Bernice and brother Lee Teske.
