August 29, 1930 – April 11, 2012
It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our dear husband, father and friend Vic.
Born and married in Regina, Vic and Marge settled in Calgary with their family in 1969. He was highly respected in the oil and gas industry, his word and hand shake were his bond. Fierce pride and loyalty throughout his life made Vic a man who was truly admired by all. It was his nature to ensure that everyone in his presence was having a good time. The party always started at the 19th hole! Vic’s passion for Marge, his family, friends, sports, love and laughter was deeply sincere.
We take comfort that Dad is now free from disease and is able to soar with the birds he so loved at his desert home. We are forever grateful for the medical support and all the efforts from countless friends.
Vic is survived by his loving wife Marge; his daughters, Pam (Stu), Tracy and Margo (Bill); and son Brad. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Matthew, Lindsey, Danielle, Abigail and Griffin; and his sister Loreena of Regina. He was predeceased by his parents Jack and Sophia; his brothers Jim and Ed; and many of his life long friends.
A Celebration of Vic’s life will be held at Willow Park Golf and Country Club (639 Willow Park Drive S.E.) on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
