József (Joseph) Borsodi of Calgary passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the age of 82 years.
Joseph was an avid outdoorsman, who believed in life the saying, “The mountains shall bring peace to the people.” His greatest loves in life were his family, fishing, hunting and telling stories about all of them. He was always there to help family and friends with household projects or whatever they needed him for.
A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. Joseph is survived by three children, Eva Borsodi of Victoria, Thomas and Valerie Borsodi of Saskatoon and Andrew Borsodi of Calgary and their mother Rózsa Borsodi of Calgary; two grandchildren Isabel and Alexander. He is also survived by his sister Ilona Kecskeméthy and numerous nieces and nephews around the world. Joseph was predeceased by his parents Lajos Borsodi and Veronika Juhász; and his brothers Lajos Borsodi and András Borsodi.
