Condolence Messages

  1. I am so sorry for the loss of your Mother, Mother-In-Law & Grandmother. Dorothy was a very kind and lovable person. She told me often how lucky she was to have such a great family. She loved all of you, so much. Although I will miss her – I cannot image how hard the new few months will be for all of you.

I hope the memories of your Mum make this time a little easier for you.

Please let me know of any way I can help you,

    Love,

    Gill

    Dear Dana, Mel and family,
There are no words that seem adequate right now, to tell you how sorry we are for your loss. Dorothy was a lovely lady, always present and involved in your lives. Her presence was a graceful, caring and peaceful one. It was always a pleasure to run into her on the streets, at the arena, or anywhere for that matter. She was genuine and always so pleasant to be around. She will be dearly missed.
You are all in our thoughts and please, if you need anything, give us a call. Love and understanding, Greg Jessie and family

  8. Janet and Bill Lamb :

I remember my aunt Dorothy when I was a very young girl. She lived in my parents basement apartment in Calgary. She was the first person to get me drunk at the tender age of four. Little did she know that I was sipping on her drink that I though was coke, but needless to say it wasn’t.
She soon left and got married and we were visiting her on the Cochrane Hill. I loved it when Dorothy pulled us {Dawn, Reed, Craig, and myself} around on Old Blue, we thought that we were quite the little cowboys.
When Mark, Laurie and Dana were born, life became more hectic and our visits more infrequent. The last time we travelled to Priest Lake Idaho Dorothy pulled her trailer with us. Our dad {Don} took us over a mountain pass that he thought was a shortcut. The road was treacherous but your mom handled it like a professional. When we reached the other side the gas attendant couldn’t believe we had come over THAT ROAD with two trailers because it was closed to only local residents because the road was soooo bad.
Dawn, Ariel {my granddaughter} and myself took your mother out this year for a birthday lunch. We had a good time at Boston Pizza and I am very glad that we had that time with her as she has meant a lot to me and our family. I cherish all the memories that I have of her and I am very sorry for your loss.
I wish that I could be there on Friday but I am in Arizona and my son and his family are flying in on Thursday. Please know that my thoughts are with you Mark, Laurie, and Dana and your families during this difficult time.
