Bill Blyth, beloved husband of Carol Blyth of Calgary, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2011 at the age of 83 years. He was born in Esterhazy, Sask. After receiving a degree in Geophysics from the University of Manitoba, he worked in the Seismic Exploration area and later as a Stockbroker.
Bill is survived by his wife, Carol, sister Betty Cornwell of Winnipeg, sons Scott (Mary), Stuart (Sherri), Steven (Tiffany) and daughter, Sharon. His children were his greatest pride- three Doctors and a Lawyer. Also surviving are grandchildren; Colin, Andrew (Teresa), Jillian, Meagan, Graham, Evan, Quinn and Owen and three great grandchildren; Alejandro, Naomi and Fernando.
Bill was predeceased by his mother, Miriam, father Allan and sister, Doreen Welden.
Bill was actively involved in Hockey as a Coach, as a Founder of the Southwest Athletic Association and Owner/Manager of the Calgary Cowboys Junior A team.
