  3. Edwin (Ted) M. Hopkins :

To the family of Alan Blayney,

Please accept my condolences at Alan’s passing. Alan was the son of my grandmother’s sister and much admired cousin to my mother. I remember being much impressed as a boy, one summer in the 1950s, when Alan visited us on our family orchard near Oliver. He drove a huge (to me, then) motor home filled with the scientific research equipment he used for field work. Alan generously shared something of his work with two young boys. My brother and I were deeply interested in a large and very strong magnet he had among his supplies.

May your memories relieve your loss,
    Ted Hopkins.
