Jockey our Brother, Uncle, Father and Friend, made his final ride to be reunited with the love of his life Late Mary Lucille (Annie) Bad Eagle for eternity.
Jockey was a working Cowboy, Jockey and Horseman throughout Siksika, Peigan, and Kainai. Throughout his lifetime he made numerous friends and always had his door open for all who knew him. Jockey has a passion for Horses whether it was training, riding, roping, breaking, and racing on the track, harness, chariot and Chuck wagons. Jockey loved the life of a Cowboy and would attend all the Rodeo’s to compete, mentor and support friends and family. Jockey’s family ties encompassed a unique traditional way of upbringing in the Blackfoot ways of life. He portrayed all the attributes of his family culture, traditions and Horsemanship abilities that he learned from a very young age. Jockey always acknowledged everyone with a smile and a funny story.
