Condolence Messages

  1. Matt & Jason:
I am so very sorry to hear the news about your mother’s passing. She was strong and fought an extremely hard battle. She is no longer in any pain or suffering, and take comfort that she’s in the arms of the lord and has now become your very own angel to watch over you.

  2. Carol Hutcheson :

Matthew and Jason please accept my most sincere condolences on the passing of your mother. She spoke to me about both of you, always with overwhelming love and pride. It was evident to all that her `boys` were her greatest joy in life. Peigi’s memory will remain with me always as will her wonderful insights on everyday life, people, and the assurances of God. I will miss her humour and enthusiasm at the office and will always be thankful that our respective careers brought Peigi into my life.

My dearest friend. You taught me to love the unlovable, to reach for dreams not yet seen, to know that, without doubt, God is in His heaven and all is well with the world. Selfishly I wish you were here with me, with Matthew and Jason, with those who loved you, but through God I say, “well done good and faithful servant”. The gates of heaven opened for you to dance through, and we dance with you my darling girl

    Matthew and Jason,

My condolences to the both of you, I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. Your mom had a special place in my heart because she was my Aunt Peigi. As a kid, I always looked forward to seeing the both of you and your parents because we had so much fun together. She will sorely be missed. I hope we get the chance to reconnect some day. If either of you are ever in Peterborough, you are always welcome in my home. My thoughts and those of my brother and sister are with you.

  5. Marion Rogers :

Dear Matthew and Jason, I am so very sorry you have lost your Mom. I haven’t seen you for too many years but I have such fond memories of the years you were in Canmore at St. Michael’s church. Peigi was a very special lady and I’m remembering times of laughter shared with her (and times when we bared our souls together). I’m very sorry I am unable to be with you in person today to celebrate her life at her funeral, but I will be holding you all in my prayers. Rest in Peace dear Peigi, and God Bless you, her treasured ‘boys’, as you cope with your loss.
    With my deepest sympathy,
    Marion Rogers

May the One who makes peace in high heavens, make peace for us all

I am thankful that I knew Peigi she inspired me with strength and light. I realise more and more that time and space are not the measure of all things. Some of us may have had years with her and some of us may have had only a short time with her, but Peigi had an effect on all who met her. Although, we are not able to see her or speak with her anymore the life Peigi lived is not cut off from us. Truth, Passion, Character Love and Spirit do not die, for they are stronger than the grave.

Just as our affection and the memory of Peigi unites us with her now, I know that
Peigi’s memory will continue to be a blessing to us all.

For Jason and Matt I hope that in G-d or in other places you find comfort.

Even though I just met you both, I have felt like I have known you both for about six years. Your mom and I had many conversations about our children. Your mom loved you very much and told me many good stories about you and I sharded stories with her. Your mom was someone that I could always talk to about work or anything else that might be on my mind. She would always respond with caring, empathy and support, always allowing me to come up with my own solutions and never judging those solutions. I saw Peigi as not just my boss (which I used to call her to tease her), but my colleauge and my friend. Peigi loved to have philisophical discussions about the work we do, which she cared so much about. I will miss those discussions and her very much. Take care, Tony Ardern
