Izora Bergh passed away peacefully in the loving presence of her family on Friday, February 27, 2015 at the age of 88 years.
Izora was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a proud member of Hope Lutheran Church, and her faith sustained her through the many trials she endured over the past fourteen years at the Bethany Care Centre. Izora faced her health challenges with unwavering strength and courage, always making the best of her situation, and reminding us of the important things in life: love, family, gratitude, and grace.
Izora is survived by her children Byron Bergh (Trudy Cole), Randy Bergh (Brenda), Maureen Gulley (Wilson) and Bradley Bergh (Donna); grandchildren Braydon Bergh, Matthew Bergh, Natalie Bergh, Gabrielle Bergh, Claire Bergh, Tyler Bergh and Dionne Britton; great-grandchildren Jeremy Ritchie and Sawyer Bergh. She is also survived by her siblings Phyllis McGee, Avis Thomas (Bob) and Lloyd Sevalrud; brother-in-law Florin Bergh (Bea) and numerous nieces and nephews. Izora was predeceased by her husband Elmer Bergh in 2001 and her parents Henry and Ellen Sevalrud.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Crowfoot, 82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.), on Monday, March 2, 2015 from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m.
Funeral Services will be held at Hope Lutheran Church (3527 Boulton Road N.W.) on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 1:00p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
