It is with deep sorrow that the family of Pauline Beregszazi announces her passing on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at the age of 91 years.
Pauline was born in Czechoslovakia, and came to Canada with her family when she was 9 years of age. In her later years she enjoyed china painting and loved giving her works of art to her family and friends. Pauline will be missed by all of her family and friends who enjoyed her wonderful smile and contagious giggles.
She will be sadly and forever missed by her three children, Steve Berry (Joan), Carol Boyce (Don) and Bonnie Hier (Don); five grandchildren, Debbie Laluene (Steve), Stephen Berry (Claudia), Karen Boyce (David Buffet), Ken Boyce (Jane) and Melissa Hier; and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her two sisters, Sophie LaButte and Helen Diemert; brother John Krall (Eleanor), as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Alex in 1990, and her parents Gus and Sophie Krall.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Monday, July 2, 2012 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church (1414 Shawnessy Boulevard S.W.) on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
