I am very sorry for your loss. I knew Val when I was a little girl. I was best friends with Shane amd my mom baby sat for Val. My heart goes out to her family. I understand the pain my father passed away of cancer in 2009, but she is at peace now and not in pain.

Val brought a constant determination to everything she did, we have great respect for how she was a fabulous Mother to her sons, Shane and Luke. Her approach to her on going condition was commendable, year after year she remained optimistic. The virtue that Val presented to all of us was courage, she truly taught us that a positive attitude can prevail when things are tough. You will be missed! Hugs to the entire family, we are thinking of you at this time.

  5. Glenda Taylor :

    Her Journey’s just begun
Don’t think of her as gone away…
    her journey’s just begun.
    Life holds so many facets…
    this earth is only one.

Just think of her as resting
from the sorrows and the tears,
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.

Think how she must be wishing
    that we could know today,
    how nothing but our sadness
    can really pass away.

And think of her as living
in the hearts of those she touched…
for nothing loved is ever lost…
and she was loved so much.
    E. Brenneman

Our heart goes out to the family
