June 1, 1948 – Calgary, Alberta
July 27, 2013 – Calgary, Alberta
It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Beverly Bentson on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at the age of 65 years. Bev was a wonderful mother and a grandmother. Her son and granddaughter were her everything.
Bev was a very hard worker and worked for several oil & gas companies, developing lifelong friendships along the way. Bev and her husband of twenty-eight years loved to travel, especially with friends and family. Bev’s granddaughter Ella was the light of her life as well as her son Chris. The time that she got to spend with her precious Ella was some of her happiest times.
Bev is survived by her son Chris Bentson; her granddaughter Ella; her siblings, Alan (Sue), Karen (Gilbert), Wayne (Kathy), Wade (Lorilee), and Glen (Tracey); and numerous aunts and uncles and their families. Bev was predeceased by her husband Wayne Bentson; and also by her mother and father, Sivert and Lillian Dundas.
Bev inspired us all with her fight against ovarian cancer and her willingness to beat it.
A Celebration of Bev’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
