August 6, 1959 – February 22, 2013
It is with great sadness that the family of Glenn Bennett announce his passing at home on Friday, February 22, 2013.
Glenn was born in Port Arthur, Ontario moving to Calgary with his family at the age of five. Always being very independent, like his father, Glenn created his own company BP Plus, and was well respected by everyone he knew and worked with. Glenn’s passion was his muscle cars and over the years collected and enjoyed many, often racing when the opportunity presented itself. Through his love of cars he met so many wonderful people.
Glenn & Sue were inseparable and loved their time together at the cabin at Little Bow, where they were married in July 2009 and special memories were made with family and friends. He was a great father who loved his girls and enjoyed watching them grow up into the amazing women they have become, enjoying every second he shared with them.
Glenn was a man who would always extend a helping hand and would drop what he was doing to assist another. He was a source of advice to many and was called on frequently. Glenn’s sense of humor and quick wit will forever live in our memories. He was a man full of life and passion, we were privileged to know “Mr B” and he will be missed immensely by all who knew him.
Glenn is survived by his wife Sue; his daughters Lindsay, Stephanie and Jenny; his mother Margery; brother Ken and sister Karen along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Thomas Bennett.
