  1. Jerry Smith -Centron Construction :

I’d lost touch with Roy in recent years. He helped me immensly for no other reason than that he had a big heart. Such a tragic loss of a wonderful and true friend. I will include him in my prayers as I will include you, his loving family. I wish you strength to overcome these darkest of days. Just know he was respected by more people than you will likely ever know. The world needs more like Roy.
    Regards, Jerry Smith

  2. Jennifer Cummings, R.N., BN., CHCPN :

Doreen, Carmel, Candi, and the rest of Roy’s family,
I am just heartbroken for what Roy and with that, all of you, has gone through these last painful, stressful, and helpless months. He was undoubtedly the most stubborn yet proud man I have ever met and I know for a fact that all he wanted was to be able to take care of Doreen and kids/grandkids. I am so deeply sorry and regretful that I couldn’t do more to help him and wave my magic wand to make the pain a bit less as I watched you all struggle. Please know that you are all deeply imprinted in my heart and I believe that Roy will be watching out for you from above, while also making sure all the work done up there is done properly and to his rigorous specifications! He loved you all so much.
With all the respect and sorrow I have in me,
    Jen
