BELL, Jennet Elizabeth (nee Stocks)

November 30, 1915 – Myrtle, Manitoba
December 6, 2014 – Calgary, Alberta

Mrs. Jennet Bell of Calgary passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at the age of 99 years.

Jennet and Norman were married in Manitoba and their sons were born in St. Boniface, MB. In 1950 the family moved to High River and to Calgary in 1953.

Jennet is survived by two sons, Les Bell (Judi LaLonde) and Dan (Sharon) Bell; five grandchildren, Randi, Jen, Shay, Debra and Shannon; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter; two sisters, Eva Pedersen and Marguerite (Al) McKnight; one brother Clarence Stocks; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Norman Bell; a daughter-in-law Donna Bell; two brothers, Ivan Stocks and Keith Stocks; and two sisters, Jessie Pannebaker and Marion McKerlie.

The family will have a private Celebration of Life to remember Jennet. Graveside Service was held at Queen’s Park Cemetery. Condolences may be forwarded through

    I’m Clarence’s grandaughter, I just want to offer my sincerest condolences to the family at this difficult time. My grandfather has expressed many memorable moments about Jennet. Although I did not know her well my fondest memory was when she sent me a card along with a tablecloth that was made by my great grandmother for my wedding. Something I will treasure for a very long time.
