Condolence Messages

  1. Please accept my deepest sympathies on your loss of Marg. I taught with her and retired with her. Her care and understanding of her students was admired by many and she made a difference to the children lucky enough to have had her in their lives. Keep your memories close to the surface and you will feel eased.

  3. Glen,
I was saddened to read today of Marg’s death. She and my sister Sharon were very good friends for many years, and, although I knew Marg was ill, I was shocked to read that she was gone. She leaves a hole that cannot be filled, and my life is diminished by her death, and I share to a small extent, your loss.

I was, however, greatly cheered up and inspired when I read about her life and how she lived it to the max and with GUSTO! Thank you so much for the brief biography that you included. It helped me a lot. Please accept my condolences.
    Jim and Vi Smith

Very Sad to learn that Marg has passed. I remember fondly the many years I spent working by her side in the classroom at Alex Furguson and Le Roi Daniels . She was not only an advocate for her students but for me as well. I appreciated her support tremendously. My thoughts are with Glen, her children and grandchildren… she glowed everytime she spoke of you all.

Marg embraced our family when we joined Varsity Acres Presbyterian Church. She taught the children’s handbell choir, forging strong relationships with our daughters Claire and Leigh. They describe Marg as their “church grandma”. She was a great friend to all of us. Reading her obituary I realized how much life and vitality she shared over the course of her life. Our thoughts are with the family during the days that lie ahead. God bless.

We are very sorry to hear of your loss. Margret was always willing to share interesting insights into her teaching experiences which I found very useful.

We have always been grateful to have you both as good neighbours and have wished you well during the last difficult years while you all struggled with her failing health.

If there is anything we can do to help, please feel free to ask us.

    Wendy,
My heartfelt condolences on the loss of your mom. We lost them both at the same time – one day apart. I know Heaven is rejoicing because there are two more beautiful Angels in Heaven and I know we will see them again some day. I know we only know each other through Facebook but if you ever need to chat, please let me know. Stay strong and know your mom is at peace and with God. Love to you and yours.
