Beaulieu , Claudette

Claudette Beaulieu (nee Miron) beloved wife of Paul Beaulieu of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at the age of 68 years. Claudette was born on May 28, 1940 in Hull, PQ, was baptized on May 31, 1940 and confirmed on April 12, 1948. She married Paul on August 30, 1958 and they moved to Calgary in July 1980. She had various careers, working as a Credit Union teller, cashier at Loblaw’s, Bonar Packaging, and as a cook at Trans-Alta Cafeteria. She held a membership with the Société Franco-Canadienne de Calgary and was involved with her church Ste. Famille Catholic Church. Claudette was especially proud at the birth of her two sons. She returned to Hull ten years ago for vacation, considering it to be her best ever. She loved French literature and songs, cooking crafts, Bingo, and camping. After a stroke fifteen years ago, her greatest challenge was relearning to speak and drive her van. Claudette’s greatest weaknesses were her dog Prince and eating ice cream. One of life’s funniest moments was after seeing his Dad dump asphalt from the truck, preschooler son Pierre dumped flour from his toy truck into the heat register! Besides her loving husband Paul, Claudette is survived by her son Pierre and numerous friends and relatives in Alberta, Quebec and Ontario. She was predeceased by her infant son Claude, parents, brothers, and sisters. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Ste.
