  1. Charles / Donna Dahl :

Mary, please accept our sincere condolances , Lorne will be sadly missed by all who new him, one of a kind if you will. As time passes and interests change, we are drawn to different arenas that eat up time. We haven’t been in touch and time gets away on us. I have some fond memories of Lorne one of which I will never forget and that was looking forward to the best hot dog on the Planet at the Worlds Fair (National) every Saturday. Its funny that that pops up first, Many years of assocation, Driving with me and for me at various times. Floyd let me know as I have been out of touch with eveyone for some time. Best wishes
    Chuck and Donna

  3. Dear Mary, I offer you and your family my heartfelt condolences. It will be the little things that you will remember, the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter … and although it may seem hard right now, it will be those little things that help to push away the pain and bring the smiles back again. With Lornes’ humorous disposition you and your family will have a large collection of his witticisms to help you ease the heartache.
No matter where Bob and I were living, we always enjoyed the phone calls that opened with “Are you my neighbors?” It was our friend Lorne “Keeping in touch.” Well Mary it just may be that our guys are neighbors once again.
I wish you comfort, courage and peace of mind. Your friend Bobbi Woolf

Mary, I am so sorry for your loss. I didn’t know Lorne for many years, but the times that I was at your home and he and I had chats were very special to me. He had lots of stories about his love of driving the tour bus! I do know that his love of his family was most important to him, it was apparant that he loved you with all of his heart and his children and grandchildren made him so proud. This is the time when you have to lean on your friends and family for comfort.
    Love Sandy
