It is with great love, but with sadness, that the daughters announce the passing of Marion Ruth Beal of Calgary on September 8, 2008 at the age of 87 years. Marion gently exited this life after a two month stay in the Rockyview Hospital.
Marion was above all other accomplishments, an amazing mother who was kind, loving and generous at all times. A keen sense of humour, a sharp wit, and a glorious smile are memories all who knew her will keep in their hearts.
Marion is survived by her daughters Marilyn Beal and Roberta Lippitt; son-in-law, Reg Lippitt; grandchildren, Catherine Lippitt and Stephen Lippitt (Elizabeth); great-grandhildren, Victoria and Simon Lippitt; sisters, Alice Symic and Trudy Leighton; brother, Larry Althouse (Betty); sister-in-law, Clara Althouse; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased in 1997 by her husband of 55 years, E.J. (Bud) Beal; as well as brothers, Gordon (Evelyn), Robert (Evelyn), Roy, and Glen.
A Celebration for Marion’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Friday, September 12, 2008 at 1:00p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
