Dante James (DJ) Baydid, beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and uncle, of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at the age of 28 years.
Dante was born and raised in Calgary. He lived life to the fullest and was always smiling and laughing. Dante brought happiness to all those around him. He was an automotive service technician and enjoyed working on cars. When he wasn’t working, Dante enjoyed playing football, dodge ball and hockey. For quiet time he would sit and play on his guitar.
Dante was an amazing and beautiful son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and uncle. He will be deeply missed by all.
Dante is survived by his parents Jose and Carmelita; sister Jocelyn Baydid; nieces, Sienna May and Roobee Taylor; grandma Nemecia Nelmida; grandpa Daniel Nelmida; uncle James Nelmida; cousins, Ellen Mendoza, Amy Dadural and Dionisio Galingan, all of Calgary; great aunt Leona Ayson; great uncle Jun Ayson; cousins, Sonny, Ulysses and Justin Ayson, all of Winnipeg; and numerous uncles, aunties and cousins in the Philippines.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) this evening, Friday, November 16, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. and on Saturday, November 17, 2012 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Monday, November 19, 2012 at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1307 – 14th Street S.W.) on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
