  2. Mother Macaria :

John was a most pious and respectful Orthodox Christian. It was always an honour to see him in Church and to visit him when he could no longer attend to worship with us. He will be sorely missed by us who knew how carefully he kept the things of Faith with respect, even while in his nursing home. Sad not to have been able to chant his funeral. May God rest his soul. Eternal be his Memory!

  3. Though I did not know John long, I had the joy of bringing him our Savior’s holy Body and Blood in the Eucharist. Even at the last, John listened to the prayers and struggled to make the sign of the Cross as he received the precious Gifts. God bless him! And may God grant quiet peace to his friends and family. Eternal be his Memory!
