We are very saddened to hear of the passing of Kris. She was a great mom, wife, daughter, sister, friend and a fighter. One of my memories of Kris is when she, Debbie and I went down to Lethbridge (the crazy driver passing us on the shoulder!!) for a card making session at her Mom’s place. The girls were on me about not drinking any wine and I ended up telling them that I was pregnant. I hadn’t even told my parents yet! That was a really special day!

  15. Scott, I’m in total shock. I heard the news through Janis this am. Really, really sorry to hear about your wife. I only met Kris 2-3 times at Field, but from all I saw, she was a classy lady. I know exactly how awful losing someone you love to cancer is….my family has been there too. It’s a dark and painful place at any time, but this time of year makes it that much harder to bear. Big hugs to you and your kids. Prayers and Lord bless….MB

  21. Kathy and Ron Shigemi :

    Dear Gerrie and Pat:
It was with a heavy heart I read of the passing of Kristine. Losing a child is the worst. As my Dad said, children are not supposed to die before their parents.
Cancer is a nasty disease which afflicts the innocent as well as some of our best people. Cherish your memories, share your tears and laughter when you can. Kristine was a beloved daughter, mother, wife, niece, and by all accounts, a lovely person. She will always have a placed in your hearts and of those who knew and loved her. When you need her the most, her spirit will always be with you to guide and help you go forward.
    Hug yourselves and one another.
