Carolanne Baker beloved wife of Ted Baker of Calgary went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at the age of 71 years.
Carolanne’s passion and love in life was her family, friends, and her faith in Christ. She was always up for a game of golf or bridge with the ladies. She was known for her compassionate heart and giving spirit and many people were the recipients of her kindness. Carolanne had a strong work ethic that she passed along to her children; she was an accountant in the oil and gas industry for many years. She and Ted were married on March 30, 1974 and spent many happy years together and she will be dearly missed.
Carolanne is survived by her husband Ted; a son Darryl Dye and daughter and son-in-law, Lenore and Dan Brown. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Jason (Colleen), Shawn (Shannon), Cameron (Erin), Dayla, Jorden, and Chantel and a great-grandson, Dylan. She will also be missed by many other relatives and friends. Carolanne was predeceased by her parents, Olive and Fred; and a brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Gail.
Funeral Services will be held at First Alliance Church (12345 – 40th Street SE) on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 2:00p.m.
