Condolence Messages

  1. Dionne McLellan :

I had the pleasure of working with Jim for many years at Mountain Park School. He was always smiling and willing to help with whatever we “threw” at him. Whether we were planning a school dance, a grade 9 wake-a-thon or a fun lunch day, Jim offered his help with all that we needed.
He took the time to ask questions about my camping adventures and truly cared about our MPS family.
    He will be sorely missed.

  3. Susan Simbirski :

To “Mother”, who he spoke fondly of frequently and his girlfriend, Anna,

My condolences to you at this very challenging time in your lives. I worked with Jim for several years at Mountain Park School. He always had time to talk and always was a fabulous listener to the events of days. Jim was a joy to have around as he was consistently cheerful and had a great sense of humour. Jim had a heart of gold, and often spoke deeply about his love for his family. Two years ago I moved to a different wing of the school. Jim was so kind, expressing his dismay that I would not be in his wing any more. I missed a golden opportunity to stop and have a chat with him when he returned from his surgery, but fondly remember all the conversations we had in the past few years. I hope you are enjoying the view from up there Jim; I hope the rivers are clear and full of fish ready to take the fly and I hope the beer is cold and refreshing. You are already missed and will continue to be missed by us at MPS.

  4. I worked for many years with Jim and had many laughs especially at the old fish camp. We also used to go pheasant hunting together where he taught me a lot. I would like to send my deepest condolences to Michael, Sara who I knew as children and his mom Eileen who always made sure we had a table at the big four during the Oil show. I also want to send my deepest sympathies to Jim’s partner Anna.
